At Curio, my work spans patient and provider workflows, care-delivery integrations, and platform reliability. I focus on translating operational requirements into system boundaries, data models, and implementation decisions—and carrying those decisions through rollout and production feedback.
Healthcare is my primary specialization, while enterprise architecture remains my technical foundation. I’m interested in the point where software design meets real operational complexity: multiple organizations, sensitive information, connected systems, and workflows that need to remain dependable when individual components fail.
My approach is to understand the workflow, make the trade-offs explicit, and validate the result in practice.

My Philosophy on Architecture
Compliance is Architecture, Not a Checkbox
In healthtech, privacy constraints drive the technical design. I architect systems that treat security and auditability as tier-zero requirements — while recognizing that architecture supports compliance rather than establishing it on its own.
Event-Driven by Default
I decouple systems so load lands where it can be managed. Using message brokers like Kafka, I design architectures intended to isolate traffic spikes from the interactive experience and clinical operations.
Pragmatic Modernization
I favor the Strangler Fig pattern over dangerous "big bang" rewrites. Business continuity is paramount.
